Czwarty etap holenderskiej etapówki liczył 186 kilometrów. Najszybciej ten dystans pokonał, podobnie jak w zeszłym roku – Lars Boom, który w końcówce zdecydował się na samotny atak i jedynie o trzy sekundy wyprzedził Davide Rebellina. Na trzecim miejscu zameldował się Maurits Lammertink (Vacansoleil – DCM).
Bardzo dobrze po raz kolejny pojechał Michał Gołaś (Omega Pharma Quick Step), który dziś był piąty.
Prowadzenie w klasyfikacji generalnej objął Boom, Michał Gołaś przesunął się na czwartą pozycję, tracąc do Holendra jedynie 26 sekund.
W niedzielę ostatni etap z Gerwen do Boxtel o długości 176 kilometrów.
