Czwarty odcinek Digital Swiss 5 będzie liczyć 36,8 kilometra o sumie przewyższeń równej 444 metry. Dzisiejsze ściganie powinno faworyzować kolarzy, którzy dobrze sobie radzą w samotnej walce z czasem.
Na starcie po raz kolejny pojawi się 19 drużyn. Niestety w żadnej z nich nie pojawi się żaden z reprezentantów Polski. Natomiast w barwach polskiej ekipy CCC Team wystartuje mistrz olimpijski Greg Van Avermaet. Inne mocne nazwiska na liście startowej to między innymi: Oliver Naesen (AG2R La Mondiale), Michael Matthews (Team Sunweb), Zdenek Štybar (Deceuninck – Quick-Step Team), Stefan Küng (Reprezentacja Szwajcarii), André Greipel (Israel Start-Up Nation) i wielu innych.
