Former Polish Champion and two-time King of the Mountains at the Tour, Rafał Majka (BORA-hansgrohe), confirms in the interview for Naszosie.pl that he will return in the French Grand Tour next year and reveals his race calendar until July.

His first race will be Vuelta a San Juan Internacional, followed by an altitude camp in Sierra Nevada. The next races are Abu Dhabi Tour, Tirreno-Adriatico, Flèche Wallonne, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Tour of California and Tour of Slovenia. It is also possible that he will be participating in the Polish Championships, but it is yet to be decided.

Most notably, Majka will devote the first part of the new season to his preparations for the Tour de France.

The management of BORA-hansgrohe has told me I will be the leader of the team in the Tour. I would like to have some good luck, because it`s the most important thing for me. I am not worried about my shape, because I`m sure I will be able to prepare myself very well for the biggest races. Overall, I was in top five in the Giro and in the Vuelta and that`s why I decided to try again in the Tour. This season I tried to go for the GC in the Tour for the first time, but, as you already know, I crashed out from the race

– said Rafał Majka.

Rafał Majka and his teammates have already started their pre-season preparations in Mallorca at their annual winter training camp.
